Call for Papers on Privacy and Security in Biometrics

A Call for Papers on Privacy and Security in Biometrics has been announced for the 6th Intl. Conf. on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing (IIH-MSP 2010) to take place from 15 -17 October in Darmstadt, Germany. The deadline for paper submission is 10 May 2010.

This special session on Privacy and Security in Biometrics is a dedicated session that aims to foster closer interactions among researchers and users communities, providing an excellent opportunity for them to meet and discuss their ideas about privacy and security aspects of Biometric Systems and Protocols and related issues. We invite researchers and professionals in the area of Biometrics to submit full-papers presenting high quality original research and development in the following topics, but not restricted to them:
• Template protection and biometric encryption
• Information leakage in biometric systems
• Security evaluation of biometric systems
• Standardization in the area of biometric security
• Legal and social aspects

Important Dates:
• The deadline for paper submission: April 4, 2010
• The date for notification: May 31, 2010
• The date for camera-ready paper submission: July 2, 2010

Submission of Papers:
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests in this special session and related areas of application. Submissions of the full-paper format, with a maximum length of 6 pages (papers that exceed 4 pages are subject to page charges), should follow IEEE proceedings layout (10pt, two-column format).
